Eligibility Criteria - CSIR-UGC NET June 2013 Entrance Exam | CSIR-UGC NET June 2013 : “Important Notice for Engineering Students”
“CSIR has been conducting Joint CSIR-UGC NET June 2013 exam ( National Eligibility Test ) for Junior Research Fellowship and Eligibility For Lectureship in five subjects of science twice a year in the month of June and December.
Candidates applying for the Test may obtain the Information Bulletin and Application forms (inclusive of fee payable) through the branches of the Bank notified below in para 5.4 (within the prescribed dates) by paying the following fee in cash:

2. Other Backward Classes(OBC) Rs. 200/-
3. SC/ST/Physically Handicapped (PH) or Visually Handicapped (VH ) Rs. 100/-
The question paper shall be divided into three parts, (A, B & C) as per syllabus & Scheme of Exam. Negative marking for wrong answers, wherever required, shall be applicable as per scheme of Exam. Syllabus & Scheme of Exam of single MCQ Paper is given at CSIR website: www.csirhrdg.res.in
In order to encourage engineering graduates to pursue PhD, CSIR-UGC NET 2013 is being extended to engineering students by introducing a sixth paper in engineering sciences which will be common to all areas of engineering disciplines from December, 2012.
The eligibility criteria (educational qualification) for CSIR-UGC NET 2013 for writing the test will be BE, B.Tech or equivalent in engineering with at least 55% marks for general/OBC and 50% marks for SC/ST, Physically and visually handicapped candidates.
Students in the 4th year of the programs will also be eligible to apply.
